LOVE in Action

Loving God, Neighbor, Self, & Creation - Abundantly.

Love in action means sharing an abundant love with God, with each other, with yourself, and with the earth.

Worship and spiritual formation help us love God, and it’s easy for us to find ways to show mercy to our neighbors and environment, but what Micah 6:8 also teaches us is to do justice.

The Gathering Place seeks to be a place where you can deepen your love of God, show mercy to those who suffer, and to work towards justice and peace.

UNLEASH YOUR GIFTS

God has given you a unique set of spiritual gifts that shape how you are wired to serve the Lord, spread the Gospel, and be the body of Christ in the flesh.

We’ve developed our own spiritual gifts quiz and framework for understanding how you’re called. Some people are gardeners, some storytellers, some architects, and others mystics.

Click the link below to take the quiz and find out your gifts! Download the booklet for more info about spiritual gifts and how you can serve.

LOVE THY NEIGHBOR

LOVE THY NEIGHBOR

Keeping our local students “full” one non-perishable food donation at a time. Every month, The Gathering Place will donate items to local Food pantries at Stetson, Bethune Cookman, and Westside Elementary School food pantries. HAND OUT HOMELESS CARE BAGS

We want to make a difference in our community. We also want to equip and release you to be the hands and feet of Jesus wherever you go.

One way this happens is by making hygiene kits for people in crisis or our unhoused neighbors. Several times throughout the year, we assemble hundreds of hygiene kits that folks can take with them and share with the people in need they encounter in our community.
