FAITH LIKE A CHILD

Your Kids are wanted & Welcome at The Gathering Place

Whether it’s Sunday gatherings or events for the family, we want to be a community of support, friendship, and spiritual growth for kids, teens, and those raising them.

Sunday Gatherings

Let us be clear: kids are welcome in worship! We believe it’s important for children to experience worshipping with the body of Christ - because they are a part of that too!

We also know that kids can experience faith formation in an environment geared to their age and development.

On Sundays at the Foundry, check your kids in at the conference room up the main stairs with one of our screened Kids Ministry volunteers. In Kids Ministry, your child will hear Bible stories, sing songs, and do hands-on arts, crafts, and so much more fun!

Our teachers escort kids back to their families in worship for communion and the closing songs. A Kids Ministry volunteer will meet you at the door after worship to sign your child out.

There’s a nursery on Sundays!

Infants through 3 year olds are welcome in our nursery. Please provide a diaper-bag for infants and extra pull-ups for toddlers not yet potty-trained.

If you are interested in volunteering in the nursery please email our ministry coordinator, Macon Armistead, at marmistead@firstunited.org
